Graham Appointed Vice President-Engineering

Oregon--Lisa Graham has been named Vice President-Engineering at Bend Research
Inc.
The promotion was announced today by Bend Research President Rod Ray.
“This recognizes Lisa’s outstanding leadership in our engineering efforts,
particularly in promoting fundamental understanding of pharmaceutical
processes,” Ray said.
Graham has been with Bend Research since 2002. She holds a bachelor’s degree
and doctorate in chemical engineering from Oregon State University. Previously,
she served as a research chemical engineer and group leader at the Bend-based
company.
Graham’s areas of expertise include the research and development of novel
drug-delivery systems and the development of models and other measurement
techniques to promote in depth understanding of pharmaceutical unit operations.
She is a member of the American Institute for Chemical Engineers and has
published six scientific papers.
Bend Research Inc. is a privately held company that specializes in the
research and development of drug-delivery technologies. The company employs
157 people at its three facilities in and near Bend, Oregon.
